That deal seems VERY AWESOME but also too good to be true. Get the car completely checked by a trusted shop. If they say its good pull the trigger!
Oh of course remember that 08 STI motors blew up alot. I dont know the circumstances as to why but do the research before you get one too!

looks like a good deal but spend a few extra bucks to get it professionally looked at by a reputable subaru/tuning shop
the motor probably blew before which is why it has a rebuilt engine.

The guy told me that he knows of 08's having blown motor problems so that is one of the reasons why he got the motor rebuilt but also to add a bigger turbo which he was unable to do so because of money. I do plan on taking it to get it checked by a subaru special tune shop.
Built motors usually only last 30-50k miles due to wear. He's already 25k miles in. The OP has been repeatedly asking about buying a good DD. A built car is not.

honestly, with all the money the guy spent, he probably had a big turbo on there at one point.
do you really think he did all that to just go stage 2?
I agree with other members, I wouldn't touch it.
If you are about to spend that kind of money, I would go another 5 or $6K and buy a new 2012 WRX, full warranty and no headaches, just my opinion.
