If anyone deserves a trial and execution, it's Saddam. In reality, I doubt very much that Saddam will die. He'll spend the rest of his life humiliated and locked up in a cell, because his death will only make him a martyr and fuel the cause of his remaining followers.

Any one happen to think that maybe he isn’t the real one? Perfect timing for them to catch sadam right when elections are rolling around. Also, with all the negative info that has gotten out about the war, maybe they are saying we caught him to show everyone that all the stuff the military has been doing actually lead to something. I don’t mean to be the negative one but I have family in the military and if its one thing I have learned is that everything is not always what it seems.
