hi, i have a weird noise coming from the engine everytime i let go of the gas, i know what it sounds like if it was the turbo spooling up. however its not the "sucking in air" type of sound, instead it's like a weird noise. It's really hard to explain, but does anyone else have this type of problem? i have 1000 miles on my car and i just noticed this recently. The only thing i've done to the car is turbo timer, and removed the intake silencer...

I have that sorta sound too. I was told that it was a vacume leak does it happen at low RPMs?

 

uhhh it kinda went away....now the only strange noise i have is my window sqeaks on my driver side door haha

 

When you let go of your gas though? Lemme guess...it's you hear it when the turbo spools up round 4,000 rpm and then you let go quickly of the accelerator right? That's the stock BOV. You can hear if it you took of ur intake silencer.

 

no it's not the bov, because i know what the turbo spool sounds like. however it's gone so yea, dont worry guys heh
