warrantied performance mods from Subaru?!?!?
ok what i heard some where on here, subaru came out with performance mod kits that are covered under warranty? if thats true, what are they and where can i find info on them. also are they worth the extra money subaru will charge you for them?

Kind of funny, I just saw a window decal at my dealership that says in big letters "Wanna Race?" followed by a WRX logo.

bill kolb jr subaru has a $1500 (Something like that) performance package...they have the $3000 BBS wheels, STi hoodscoop(or something), and some other stuff....i went to a local auto show and saw this tiny sticker on the window that said the wheels were included in that price...and im sure the price was near 1500...but anyway...they install the package so i guess its covered under warranty and they wont hassel you...too much
oh and the thing about the wheels...they probably made a mistake or something...i dont know..i shoulda asked the dealers...on a side note...i asked the dealer what the top speed was and he laughed and said dont worry about it you'll never get there...so by the time im 20 i promised myself that i would top out in a wrx

well when I got my car they said that anything that subaru doesn't make for the wrx screws up the warranty is that true or are they just trying for you to buy there products because if thats the case that is messed up because you can don't nothing to your car please help me out on this

I am familiar with Bill Kolb Subaru, since i bought my car there.. they are most likely including the less expensive version of the BBS rim. I believe they are called RKs.
I have been looking into getting new RIMs.. and tirerack has the
RKs at $269/wheel.
There is another RIM that subaru was offering (at least for '02 WRX) that I believe is called the RGR and tirerack has them for $439/wheel (big difference!)
