I was reading posts in VW forum, there are tones of VW owners who wants to trade their cars with older 2.5 RS or new WRX models. Of course, lots of VW fanboys talking crap about our cars...making stupid claims like their stock Gti would smoke WRX and ****. ...

 

They're just jealous because Subaru owners actually drive their cars, versus watching a VW from a shop window.

I work with this cat who spent well over 5k modding his VW. Its a basic Jetta 97 chipped, intake , exhaust, cam gear upgrade and the back seets are out. He also has some igniton thing and i think an underdrive pulley mod. Any way me and him line up next to each other one day on the way home from work he in his Jetta and me in the Legacy LSE (not the WRX). I smoked him...bad. I was embarassed for him cuz another guy from work saw the whole thing and called him on it. He gave me some lame excuse about his plugs needing gapped.
But before the flame starts from some disgruntled Vdub ownersI like VWs. The Corrado is sweet and I owned a Scirocco. The thing is, is this cat is convinced that VWs are the greatest car in the world. He thinks they cant be touched. I think he had a reality check when a bone-stock Legacy blew him away.
