has anyone maxed out a stock WRX? wats the speed?

When you get up to that speed (Which I hope you all are NOT doing on public roads), your speedometer will read fast. Even at lower speeds, it can be off by 1-2mph. The only ones I will say are NOT, are the police calibrated speedometers. The only true way to find out your top, is to get yourself radared/lasered, or have a calibrated speedometer car pace you.

And how are you guys getting these speeds? Both my and my wifes WRX's top out at 130MPH. Will NOT go any faster. Do any of you have a speed cut lifter?

i've hit 143 completely stock...i suggest that if you try this you pull in your side view mirrors. First time I did it I heard a LOUD-*** howling noise that scared the crap out of me. Other people on the forum confirmed that it was the mirrors that caused the noise. Insane speed=drag.
