What does it mean when your subaru is Stage 1, 2, 3, or 4. Can someone explain that because I am relatively new to the game so I'd like to have some info on that. Thanks guys...

 

A lot of different tuner companies (such as Vishnu or Cobb, for example) have their own "power packages" and they usually name them in stages.

The "stages" vary from tuner to tuner, but may have the same name. For example:

Cobb Stage 1 consists only of an ECU reflash. (I have this and it's great.)

Vishnu stage 1 is an ECU reflash, new pulley, up-pipe and turbo back exhaust.

It means nothing, really.

Everyone's stages are different, so no point to compare or use it to evaluate the cars performance.

I, personally, am on the 39th Stage right now.
