sorry, but the EVO VIII has more hp, and has all of the traction control of its predecessors. the U.S. Lancer Evolution doesnt.

" the website you posted calls the car the lancer evolution but its also called the EVO8. Honest Dealer. Markups are an honest and normal way of doing buisiness. It just works that way. At least in the world that most of us live in.

well thats funny, because DODGE is frowning upon this practice. they have advertised that the car will be under 20k and they dont want dealers marking up the price. but i guess they dont live in the same world that you do.

Well children, let me tell you something...I have personally owned more cars in my life than most anyone on this board, i guarantee that. Well over 75. I have owned 3 different Subarus, and guess what? All three of them were crap. Unreliable, cranky, and expensive to repair. Does that mean Subarus are crap? NO IT DOESN'T. It means that the Subarus I had were crap. Would i ever consider buying a Subaru again? Of course i would. I am an AUTOMOTIVE ENTHUSIAST, not an ELITIST!. I see the value in most all marques, and i don't trash ANY of them. That is narrow minded and childish. Anyone can talk up their favorite Marque without trashing someone elses. Some one posted earlier in this thread about "true Subaru Enthusiasts". Well, i sure hope some of you start ACTING like true enthusiasts, instead of being so arrogant and narrow minded.
BTW...I do own a Neon, which my son drives. I also own 4 other vehicles besides the Neon......

 

As I have read though this post, that most people are dissing the SRT-4 Dodge Neon, let alone that is a domestic car it is still a really fast 4cil. Now when compared to a WRX the WRX gets my vote anyday they look better, drive better, and are built for more then just the road.. Rally, X-Cross, Road, Track, etc..

Dodge's SRT-4 is non-the-less a performance car, Dodge's 2nd fastest. Now when also comparing it to the new WRX STi coming here in the next 4-5months, aswell as the new Lancer EVO VIII.

The Neon SRT-4 will get its *** handed too it, racing either one of those cars the STi or the EVO 7.

Dodge has made a step in the right direction with the 4cil's but still way behind.

arguing with you is pointless. When presented with the facts you simply deny them and move on to your next stupid argument. Neither of us no the price of the EVO that is coming to us markets but it is a fare and educated guess that it isnt in the price range of the WRX. I've heard prices from 29 all the way to 38 but it doesn't matter because its a guess, like saying you know what the car is going to have, or not have. Its all rumors.

Lancer Evolution enthusiasts will call it an EVO8 because that is what it is.But i guess myself and all the other enthusiaists must be wrong, and you're the only one that is right. Ive been following the car for quite awhile or did I stumble accross a japanese website by accident. I dont know anything about the car and i dont research it, yeah sure, your're right.

Just expressing my opinion, I am acually a Toyota Supra Enthusist, which likes plenty of cars such as the WRX, Lancer, Neon SRT-4, etc.. everyone here that just likes to stick to one car and not take in the fact there is other cars out there other then the WRX which can be beaten by plenty of cars out there, which I dont need to name any because everyone will start ot flame that becuase it will be "no the WRX IS GOD!! AND CAN'T BE BEATEN" all it is showing is the maturity level like the people with Honda Civic's with there "VTEC IS GOD" idea.. which in turn its just the same as toyota's VTT-i System.. anyway thats not what this is about...

Im not defending the Neon SRT-4 im just saying its not to be under estimated.
