I guess the decision is yours. But hearing your needs, it sounds like you should get the sedan. But I gotta admit, being financially strapped (college student) myself, the lower cost is attractive.

Well, depending on what kind of car seats you have and how old your kids are you can fit both the car seats on the large side of the fold down rear seats in the wagon allowing the small side to fold down. With this setup my wagon is great for family camping trips and the like.
Interesting. I've never seen 2 child car seats that could fit side by side in a compact car before. You must have some pretty small kids!

wagon is nice, its spacious, but it costs $1000 cheaper because its not as great a performance compared to the sedan, it weighs more and does not have better weight distribution than the sedan, not at all. the sedan looks better in my opinion but the wagon is good if u want to be a family man or a pimp, if u are a racer, dont get the wagon. stick sedan is faster than a stick wagon. sedan has good space too but if u want to put ur bike in the back everyday then get the wagon.

if you need the space even a few times a year the wagon is worth it, with the 1000$ put into mods. OHHHH BABY

I think we're all obviously biased one way or another...

The common sentiment is that you get the car that best suits your needs. Performance wise, they are indeed very similar.

I personally chose the sedan, but that's primarily cause I'm a) partial to sedans, b) my wife already drives an SUV, and c) we don't have any kids nor do we plan to haveany for at least another 10 years.
