help: cooling fans

go to radio shack and get a 4 pole relay- 5 pole if you want both fans to run.run a heavy gauge wire to the main fan motor then to the switch side of the relay.then on the other switch side of relay to power source, making sure to use a inline fuse(20)amp.on the coil side of the relay run another hot wire with inline fuse to it.one pole left on relay which will be your ground leg that you put to a switch of your choice and then to ground.see what you could find for a timer.this would keep your battery happy.on the main fan splice a hot from relay switch to the white/blue wire.sub fan splice a hot to the yellow/red wire.

I think I have a bunk thermal switch! If I run hard and then stop and idle for a few minutes the temp will rise close to red, but i never let it i just turn on the a/c and the fans come on and cool the motor to normal. Any one else experience this?
