Rebuilding an 05 wagon
Ok, I am buying a totaled WRX wagon, and from the roof to the rear bumper needs to be replaced, just the rear end and roof, everything else is perfect except for the transmission, I'm getting the car for 4K, and it is a 2005 with 14K miles on it. I need to replace all that stuff, does anyone know where I can get all these parts? I don't know any good OEM type sites that will provide this many parts I need. Even if they are aftermarket that will work for some of the stuff. Any help is appreciated!

call you local subaru dismantler. I also have a totaled wrx that im almost done with, but my damage is not that big, its an 05 wrx with 20k on it, and got it for $6k, it has some nice mods done to it, HKS u/p. d/p exhust, a'pexi intake, turbo timer, cusco crap and tine springs.
you have the best damage, rear end, just cut it out and replace. Fast, e.z. and simple damage that you can probly even do yourself.
and remeber, no matter what people tell you, starting from 02+ the body is the same, so an 02 rear end wagon will fit on your 05. Here in Sac i belive we have 2 wagons at the local dismantler has, and finding oem parts for the rear is also one of the easiest thing to do, becuase cars are more hit in front the the rear.
I say go for it, your total should come out around $8k, and thats everything painted, fixed and what not. do the math
2005 wrx wagon + 14k miles + for around $8k = damn good and cheap car!
