i am planning on getting an sti, but there are some things i would lke to know...
1. The wing alone costs around $350 (i would rather have an rs trunk installed, no wing please)
2. the rims add another $1500-2000 (i have rota SDR's and i love em)
3. the STI shift **** is another $150 (i have a kartboy shift ****, no need for the sti shifter)





does anyone know if a dealer would be willing to lower the price of the car, by selling it to me without rims, the shift **** and with an RS trunk lid? I would assume they could put those parts on a wrx and sell it for more...

if i can wittle down the price, i will be able to get into my car sooner than feb. If not, i have to wait until my savings grows a bit more.

I will either sell my wagon (blacko2wrx) as is to a private party (with stock parts as well) , or part it out, install the stock exhuast and sell my mods ( greddy evo cat back, pde downpipe, autometer boost and egt gauges, pde uppipe, basslink, sony mp3 player, blitz DDS turbo timer/boost warning, autometer dual guage bezel) for some of the downpayment...

hrm, i was wondering if i can go to mcdonalds, and ask for a large soda, but no cup, or the burger without the wrapper so it saves their costs, therefore lowering mines

AzN121184... *L* yea, But I always go to McDonalds and ask for a soda with out ice and they dont charge me for the additional soda they give .. Humm maybe the lack of ice cancels out the cost of the extra soda?

I'll have to ask about "lids" Thats a good idea!! and maybe Fries with no salt!!!

andy you are so smart, of course the soda and ice cancels out that's why they dont charge u extra for the tad bit of soda.. but then again, buying a car without the rear trunk lid i would really doubt they'll cut down the cost. oh yea bud, if your looking to sell the car...i know a friend who MIGHT be interested, but as of right now he wants an m3. so just let me know how things goes. best of luck
