Has anyone ever been over to http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/. I am also a member there but I've only posted like twice. If you haven't been over there take a minute to check it out. I'm not one to bash anything/anyone but some of the people that post there are ridiculous.
One member threatened to report another member to SOA because he modded his vehicle and was attempting to get warranty work done. I wished I could find the link to that one.
So today I'm checking out their forums again. A kid installed a CAI on his STi and posted a link to the video. The kid driving was getting on it a little in his neighborhood nothing worse than any of us do. So one of the other members posts that he can make out the kids tag #'s and is going to report him to the police. Wtf?
I don't think I'm being out of line here but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway we have a great forum here and I hope it stays this way.

I have to agree with you completely! Its none of anyones business whether you drive YOUR car hard or not. What is the guy going to report about the STI? That the kid was driving his STI hard!? Correct me if Im wrong, but aren't STI's the race car for subaru?

i thikn most people on this board knows about nasioc, because way back then..that site and this site was one, but it split, do a search and im sure u'll find numerous posts about it. i have to admit itw as cooler back then when the community was so big.
Many of us are members of both forums. Some were original i-club members who also signed up here after the split and continued to post in both places, others came along later.
IMO both sites are excellent resources for the Subaru community. Just tune out the "noise" that you don't like and enjoy the things about both sites you do like.
I give both Alex and Nick a tremendous amount of credit for maintaining their respective sites and keeping them available and free for all to use.
