The one change in the 04's that nobody has mentioned yet.

I haven't heard anybody mention this one change on the 04's form the 03/02 models on any board yet. That change is to the driver's side window wiper. It no longer has the plastic blade underneath it that apparently helps the blade cut through snow and heavy rain better. Does anybody know why they would remove this litle thing?? I had aftermarket "wind blades" on my last car and I could swear that they increased the pressure of the wipers on the windshield but they may have also caused them to wear prematurely.

My guess would be that the change in the front end aerodynamics deemed it unneccessary.

The new wrx has collapsible/impact friendly wipers in case of collision. Probably had to remove that piece for it to work?

I don't on my mine. My girlfriend has one on her 03 Tiburon and it always clicks when the wipers are on. It keeps smakcing the window when the wipers change direction. It is the most annoying sound ever.
