LOL... I had to run it by a few times to see what happened. Looks like he hit the brakes, and turned at the same time. Not too bright. Was he trying to swerve to avoid the car at the redlight, or something?
Still... I've been in situations where I've had to do the break and swerve thing... but I've never in my life gone off the road. The only time I've ever lost control was going around a 90d. corner on a wet asphalt road too fast in a RWD car (Of course, it was in the middle of nowhere, and I kept the car ON the pavement at least... It was a choice between facing the wrong way or having a tow truck pull my car out of a ditch.....
Heh, I bet he's kicking himself after that. Say bye bye to insurance.

after looking at the video in slow motion, and brightened a bit in the video editor, it looks like the back end may have come loose, and he hit the brakes, didn't bother trying to counter-steer and just drifted into the parking lot. If he lost it a few feet sooner, the sign would have stopped him.
