Looks like you're spending a lot of time on eBay. RS-R is a low-budget company. I wouldn't want any of their products for my car. Ti2000 is a new one on me. Probably in the same boat as RS-R.
Spec C and S202... now you're talking. Those cars used a version of the WRX motor known as the EJ20G. Fully closed deck, forged internals... good stuff.
The US WRX motor is the EJ205. It's a good motor, but if you go nuts with the boost and horsepower it'll break eventually.
The first WRX motor used the EJ207. It was semi-closed deck and used some forged internals. Subaru discontinued using this motor in the base WRX several years ago because STi owners complained about modded WRXs being faster.
STi motors are EJ207 or EJ20G.
There are many differences between EJ20 motors beyond these though. It's easierst just to ask about them as they come up. There's also a good breakdown of them on www.ravensblade-impreza.com and http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm#1

Wow,
Thanks.. I've learned quite a bit already.. Pictures says a thousand words.
Now, are there pictures here of a S202 vs a Spec C engine???
Also, whats a "GC8" or what does it stand for?
So is it correct to say the "s202, Spec C" wrx's are more advance then teh STi's??

I haven't searched for pics of the other engines you've mentioned - don't recall seeing any posted offhand but might've missed them.
