Hello...
I joined i-club in hopes of learning some things about wrx's as I may be looking into one by the fall of 2003. Currently I own a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V, I love the car as it has been an absolute blast to drive. At the time of my purchase last Jan 28th, I could not afford even a base model wrx becuase the dealerships were raping everyone with sometime up to over 5,000 msrp... so I could not afford a wrx. So I hope to learn more about the wrx and hopefully get one by fall next year
So your probably wondering why I want a wrx... simple, AWD and factory turbo. My Spec-V, I have found is a dry land car only, and where I live (South Western Virginia) the winters are harsh and my little Sentra just wont go.
But in conclusion I leave you with a pic of my current baby

Has the transmission been replaced yet?
I was researching those for a bit, and apparently the 2003 has an entirely different manual transmission that's even geared differently because the 2002s had so many problems. Nissan is even replacing 2002 transmissions with 2003 parts if you b*tch and moan enough about grinding and slipping (not difficult to do). I've also seen a lot of reports about the interior being exceedingly cheap and parts breaking off in your hands, so I decided against it as the car for me. Hopefully you've had better luck than some.
