Need your opinions

I have a 2006 Impreza WRX. Now the car is burning oil. A mechanic nearby to my home told that engine replacement is essential. What do you think of this problem?. I heard about Apex Specialized Automotive, an automotive service center in Edmonton. Have anyone used their service?. If so, please share your opinions.

How did your mechanic come to the conclusion that engine replacement was essential? Did he do a diagnosis on the disappearing oil? What did he find?

I removed your link BTW, just in case.

Not too many folks in Canada come to i-club. It's more of a California based forum. But I moved to Alberta a few years back, so I can address your question. I take mine to Lightspeed in Red Deer. I don't know them vey well but all the locals talk highly of them. Also how much oil? Does the car have other issues?
