I need your best opinions on setups
ok, so im planning on helping my dad on a new set up for his car. planning on running a new turbo, bigger injectors, bigger top mount, and fuel pump. for turbo wise i dont wanna run the IHI turbos because for one wanna be unique, and for another we wanna run bigger so im thinking HKS or BLitz. as for injectors, i know power enterprise has a set, HKS does, or i can just maybe order the STI? as for fuel pumps, idk a good brand. i know walbros are good for doing an sr20 swap in a 240 because the pressure is perfect so a fpr wont have to be installed, but im not sure how it would run in a ej motor w ith bigger turbo. and i know for top mount we are guarentee gonna run the XS top mount. but also, if we do run a bigger turbo, would maybe the top mount conflict with the space to run a bigger turbo? So if i can please get you guys' best opinions, i will greatly be appreciated. thanks alot

For the turbo try deadboltspeed.com they have everything from modified stock turbos to things that look like they got pulled off a diesel truck. Power enterprise sells 800cc injectors or you can get a set of modified stock one for cheap that flow 850cc. The sti injectors might be too small if you are planning on running a big turbo. The walbro is cheap and easy and can be picked up for a hundred bucks. I big turbo might conflict with a big top mount, but if you are looking to make big power a frount mount would be better.

yah tranny will be toast with about 400whp, also the stock internals, Greddy makes a pretty big 18g turbo kit with pretty much everything you need, lemme tell you tho, be prepared to spend many hours in the shop and alot time on the dyno and streets getting tuned...

when i first started building up my car, i wanted to be different than all the other WRX's out there too. i ended up doing the standards though... vf34, sti injectors, ecutek reflash, etc...
what did i get when i was all said and done? a car that is unbelievably relieable, purrs like a kitten at idle, is a blast to drive, and has more power than i know what to do with. there's a lot to be said for proven parts.

Remember, although the horsepower will be cool, your car is gonna be a top speed warrior. (I don't know what you are shooting for) My theory is that if you can off the line take a muscle car or a porsche, then thats cool, like with a VF-34 that is possible.
Buuut with a huge oversized turbo that your talking about your turbo is gonna start spooling at like 4,000 RPM's.
Dyno sheets are great but on the road is where it counts.
