I had one of their gear boxes fail. And when the shop that built my car took my 6spd apart, They said that it looked like someone was in the tranny before. I said yes, It was taken apart and inspected right before it went in my car. They said yeah we could tell. All the tabs and stuff were broken inside. And some of the bolts were rounded. I asked the guy to replace the shift forks, sycros and what not. And it ended up it did. I wanted it all replaced so I would not have to pull the gearbox out again and pay labor twice. Guy gave it back to me saying everything was great. Didn't need it... 1000 miles later and I was right. There was a bunch of other stuff to. My 6spd is now perfect and over built. All new internals.... From my race shop I go to now.. But I had to have it all done twice since GearWorks didn't listen to me the 1st time. Which cost me more money in the long run.

Gear Works might do good work for some. But it didn't work so well for me. And it cost me more in the long run. And he didn't listen to my requests. So just be careful if you use him.

I'd go with Paul at FW motorsports if it was me. Paul does the whole job. Where GearWorks only handles the gearbox after its been pulled. And you want the same guy doing all the work.
