Welcome to the pain of having black...I love black but man my car looks hella dirty right now. I have a black '03 Wrx Sedan. I say lower it first and get better tires.

Check out the various tech forums for the Impreza on i-Club. There are forums specifically for engine, suspension, and wheels & tires. Each forum has a Search feature that can often yield helpful results with just a couple of well-chosen keywords.
