just got my 05 psm premium package
got a 6 yr 80,000 bumper to bumper paid 27,000 otd i have a couple ?s, how easy does the dash in the o5s scratch theres a big mark in the ash tray door from the back of my fingernail but the dealer is going to fix it. so im not that upset just worried that it is easy to scratch and it will happen again. another question i have is my car is all stock but wont be for long and it has 300 miles and i hit 2nd hard yesterday and heard a huge clunk from the firewall floorboard area, so how worried should i be? i only plan to do a turbo back exhaust, lightened clutch and flywheel, intake, silicone hoses, cobb reflash and thats about it more suspension than anything gp moto coilovers 18" rota tarmac 2s in bronze, gunmetallic or steel grey. solid end links big sway bars strut tower brace ........ anything else you would suggest feel free to post up or any comments about stuff listed above ???

As for mods....im sure they will no if you mod it; but honestly i dont know. As for wheels i have a 04 wrx psm. I put 18" prodrive p1s anthricite (which is like dark silver/grey) and the are howt. Then the other day i put gold rota tarmic 2's on and now im torn between which of the two i like best. So if i were you id go to nasioc and search to see what a silver wrx would look like with the rotas that you are looking for!

should i worry about the loud clunk at first i was but i figure i have a warranty for a reason right it would just suck if i ended up with a lemon or something like that i absoulutely love the car dont get me wrong and i know the general manager at the dealer i got it from so im assuming that that will help if i have warranty issues. please let me know what you think? thanks

Sounds like you just let the clutch out too quick and it shuddered and clanked. But I have no idea over the internet like this. It doesn't sound nice when you just drop the clutch though, so that could be all it is.

Your Owner's Manual covers engine break-in. A search of this forum or Car Lounge will probably yield several references to break-in period and method of break-in. I like the method described here.
