Holy crap guys I finally got approved for my loan to buy my 02 silver WRX. I got it from a school teacher in VA who seemed to get all the options he could (gauge pack, short throw shifter spoiler). I'm only financing $17,500 and its only got 23,000 miles. I fell like I got a fair price, what do you all think?

One other thing, AutoTrader.com is by far the best place on the web to search for a car so if you looking thats where to go.

 

Congrats on the purchase. Personally though, I hate the way AutoTrader makes you do searches.

 

Wow I picked it up today and its the first time i got to drive a WRX for more than a few minutes. Im so amazed at how fast and ballanced that car really is. The specs in the magazines are almost missleading because that car can handle better than almost anything I've ever driven and can cover ground way faster than a 227hp should be able to. I have a hard time beliving the STI can really be THAT much better other than the fact its faster. IMHO I belive the WRX is probly still the bang for the buck, more so for a properly broke in used one.
