Never on the highway, only at 4am in "unspokin'" locations, haha.

It's so slow, it's annoying!!! It's not what I was hoping for, but yet, I love the car!

I was driving home from work and the traffic flow slowed down at a slightly inclined hill. I was at 2nd gear when the traffic started picking up again from a nearly stopping point. I stepped on the gas pedal to move, man... this thing didn't move quite well. I floored it slowly and still didn't pick up. It felt like I had to down shift into 1st. It finally picked up after passing 2.8K rpm.

Argh... but I love my car!

i hear you, i have an 03 rex and i only have it for about 5-6months. for some reason this thing is really hard to pick up on 2nd that i have to go to 1st just get it going and this is just from crusing around in a parking lot area (this is about 5-10mph). so i'm still adapting on driving it. i had an 99' eclipse n/a before and it had no problem getting the car moving at 2nd a gear from a stop.
