boost lag.
boost lag.
hey guys i have been having a weird problem with my car lately that when i push the gas all the way down and start boosting it lags from 0psi to 6-7psi and then shoots up? any advice?
the car was tuned by the previous owner back in SoCal befre i bought it with an open source tune, he made 295 whp and 260tq
with this same exact set up i have added a blow off vaulve which i believe leaks a bit but the car would run fine with it this problem just started about 2 weeks ago.

the first thing that comes to my mind would be to check the boost line to see if it's properly connected, probably came loose.
oh check all hoses and lines to make sure there are no leaks anywhere.
that's all I got to say, ha

Did you put a vent to atmosphere bov on that it didn't have before? If you haven't been tuned you definitely need to. Did all this start after swapping the bov?
but i will put on the stock one today and let you guys know how it goes, and yes i do need a tune BAD, but no job right no maybe in two months ill have the money.

It sounds like a leak or potentially a tuning issue. I'd have to check the car out in person to get you a better idea of exactly what's going on. Give us a call if you'd like to schedule an appointment.
Thanks
