From the dyno posted on their site (below), it seems like there is absolutely no increase in lag going to the bigger VF30 turbo. In fact, the rising slope of the VF30 (red line)looks identical to that of the stock turbo (blue line). I realize that there are a whole host of factors which will help the spoolup compared to stock (airbox removed, uppipe, free flowing exhaust, etc.), but can this be too good to be true? What other turbos out there have stock lag characteristics?



Look at this dyno from Godspeed... this is what I would expect to see with a bigger turbo... from 3000-3700rpm the bigger turbo is making less hp/tq than the stocker. This is the 1818F turbo. Is it just that the PE1818 is bigger than the VF30
