Impreza MY2003 for US market.
I've put new airbag after crash but the AirBag light constantly ON.
How to reset the light?

Should I rewrite data in Airbag control unit?
Can I do it via OBD-II or any connector?

But u think they waste the modul?
I guess it can be re-dumped.
If ECU can be reprogrammed so the SRS modul is not such clever thing.

 

Are you allowed to tamper with something like that?

I live in Belarus (former USSR)
We can uninstall CATs, we can use tetra-ethyl lead Pb(C2H5)4 to avoid detonation, we can reprogram ECU and do not use safety belts

But the question is how to RESET AirBags ???
Cos I sell crashed car from US and do not want my buyer to know that it was in crash. Car is fixed already. Of course he knows nothing about CarFax.

I've found one gate but it deals with MY2001 Europe version.
They have AirBag connector (yellow 6-pin).
All is to do - connect some pins to the ground.
BUT I cannot find such a connector on US versions!
