Selling my old WRX was a very hard thing for me to do. I sold it so I would have some breathing room when I moved out with my girlfriend. I bought a Protege 5 and cut about $250 per month off of my payment. My current payment now is $230. I am now ready to buy another WRX. I will be looking to sell the Protege. The most I am willing to pay monthly is about $350 for a 60 month loan. I will be able to put around $6,000 down. Help!

Are you moving into an apartment or a house? Are you two planning on getting married? I would hold onto the Protege and use that money as a down payment on a house later, but obviously, if you already have a house, then you could go with a WRX. I'd wait for the restyled one (I'm sure it's coming), but then it depends on how good of a loan you can get, and if you can get payments of $350/mo on a brand new WRX.

 

We moved into a townhouse already. I didn't think that i could get a redesigned WRX for 350 a month but i put it on the list. I am leaning toward buying a used one or buying a "bug-eyed" when the redesigned WRXs come out becasue the prices will probably drop or Subaru will have incentives on the old style.
