Only occasionally does this happen...but when I hit 3-4 rpms(any gear) there is a rattling. I went under car and applied pressure to exhaust while giving it gas and no noise was made, but exhaust Seems very tight. ...07 Subaru wrx

 

have you checked the heat shileds on your up and down pipe? mine does the same thing cause my down pipe heat shield is broke

not really,altho if it is broke means more heat in the engine bay i recomend heat wrap or new heat shield

 

rattles at a certain RPM range usually tends to be heatshields. are you lowered?
