I just bought a new Impreza TS 2.5 on December 17th, 2002. About a week after buying it I began to smell something burning. I thought the car was breaking in. Now today I noticed when I let the car warm up in the morning, there is a burning smell inside the car. I looked under my car and saw smoke. Don't know the underworkings of my car so couldn't say what the smoke was coming from.

I called the dealer and he said he had never heard of such a thing. But he said it would be covered under the waranty and to bring my car in tomorrow. They will need to look at it all day.

Anyone know of this problem plaguing the new models? I 've heard of things from 97/98. But I read they were supposedly fixed on the later models.
