All I can say is WOOHOO! My WRX is totally awesome. I'm going to have to drive it a little more to give a "full review", but so far, there is absolutley nothing I would change on it. The upgrades here and there over the previous years WRX are noticeable and just add that much more to the overall value of the WRX. I also love the restyling they did on the Imprezas. (02-03 owners your rides are still great packages as well, so don't sweat it
)
I'll have to write about my dealership experience a little later, but it was hands down the best dealership experience I've ever had, period. I bought from Delray Subaru in South Florida using the Subaru VIP program and got my 04' for maybe a few hundred dollars more than one of the leftover '03s, not to mention they gave me several hundred dollars more than I was expecting on my trade. I wasn't surprised, but was glad to truely get what my trade was worth!
Although I've had the opportunity to drive a number of Subarus in the past, it's great to finally be a bonefide Suabru owner and I'm looking forward to participating on the I-Club even more now!
It got it with:
Rear Spoiler
Air Filtration
Security System Upgrade
Short Shifter
All factory installed.
See ya on the streets!

Thanks all!
I tell ya, I couldn't have picked a better time to go from a FWD turbo (Jetta) to the AWD WRX. It's been absolutely storming down here in South Florida for the past few days so the AWD has come in REAL handy!

Take the car on a curvy mountian road to really experiance how fast you new wheels really are. One question though.
Other than cosmetic what really are the differances in the 02-03 and the new 04's?

The ones that I know about are engine speed sensitive power steering, new seats with integrated head rest, center mounted tach with silver trim rings aroung the gauges and bright red indicator needles. They also made some minor changes to the suspension including changing the valving of the shocks but that's all I know as far as details at this point on the suspension. The suspesion does seem to be a little more progressive to me in the damping department than I remember the 02-03s being, and responds well to varying types of road irregularities and bumps. Recovery is quick and firm, but not harsh.
You can also get a "Premium Package" WRX that comes with a sunroof and leather for those who desire those "luxury" items.
The drivetrain is obviously carried over, but I'm keeping my eye out for any other little "unadvertised" differences that sometimes are part of a "redesign" like this. I'll be sure to share any that I find along the way.

I hear you guys about curvy mountain roads. Don't have a lot of curvy roads down here, but there are a few including some pretty fun highway on and off ramps. Now with WRX, I'm going to make it a point to challenge the curvy roads whenever I can....after break in of course!
