I paid over invoice, but others got better deals than I. No where near MSRP.
Maybe S. Florida is different. You could fly to NH, buy here, drive home (varying speeds, of course) and have it nicely broken in and still save a lot of $!

lol no...right now ive been offered 25,300 for a silver sedan with spoiler, turbo gauge and armrest extension, which comes out to 25,800 sticker.
going again today to see if i can get an offer for 24,500 for just a sedan with spoiler and nada mas...wish me luck
cuz if i get that offer im gettin a new WRX hehe

Join IMBA, wait 6 months, and get a car at invoice. Save the $4000 for mods or get a used bike in the meantime By then the 04s will be the only Imprezas on the lot and the dealer won't be able to get rid of them at MSRP anyways.

just a little update...went to a dealer today, sat him down, saw a silver 04 on the lot completely stripped (not into the premium package, not enough headroom for me with the moonroof), with a sticker of 25,045.
sat the guy down, told him id pay 23,545...back and forth, finally agreed on my original offer of 23,545. thats 500 above invoice. gonna have em put on a spoiler, and with the extra dough i can now put on other mods.
if you can get a deal like that, IMO its worth waiting, and its better than joining that biking association and waiting 6 months to get one
im a proud owner of a new silver 04 WRX, picking it up tuesday at 5

No dealer that puts mark up on its cars will turn down a good offer. If you show up willing and able to pay a price that shows a profit for the dealer, even just a couple hundred bucks, they'll eventually take it, as long as it's not something like a 350Z, Evo, or STi where they know htere really is someone else who will pay it.
