I-Clubbers! Good day to you. Not too long ago, I was researching around on what projects/furniture&fixtures people had created from....well junk! As a young boy, I was always taking toys apart and putting them back together, fixing what i thought i could, . How many of you remember junk yard wars say....5-10 years ago? loved that show. Anyways, I wanted to start this thread for fellow members to gather their ideas/parts/projects in one place. This would be a great place to let go items long such un needed, or to trade, or just maybe even buy if its a killer deal for a 10 foot gorilla made of wrx parts (who the hell knows). thats what this thread is all about, to get you crazy ideas out there, recognized, and even some pointers from fellow members if ur lucky! So, I-club, lets see what you got. what crazy table have you made? what insane couch have to pieced together from your old taken out seats? office bucket chairs! ive seen a lot of those lately. What parts do you have for free or are about to throw away? As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure!



As always, lets try to keep this thread within its intentions and keep the drama/bashing to a minimum. Not everyone has the same thought process or ideas as you. this thread is intended to accept that and build upon it as a community.

I like the idea. I built a couple of v8 engine tables and a carburetor lamp. Next project is turbo lamp.

I have an ej22 short block with a spun bearing if someone wants to build a small table...

 

ya, IMO, it seem the V type or I type blocks seem to be easier justbecause of their setup.

i MAY be interestd in your block. LOL. it would be my third block. LOL. especially since i may be going with new OE pistons in the RS...hmmm....*ponders*

FRIIIIDAAAAYYYY.....ya...walked in and the office is already outta control jacked up on coffee....LOL

ill be posting up some parts that i plan to get rid of in a bit.

Parts would include pretty much engine parts:
oil pump
water pump
timing belt
tensioner
indlers
possible pistons and rods
main/rod bearings

at first i was going to try and get some cash for these. but then took into consideration that I dont know the mileage on them (preemptive measures) and would not want to take on that liability of future failure on buyers scoob. So, I have some parts that I will take pics of and post up the rest when i get them damn wrist wpins out. If nonone is in need of any of the parts ill keep them to take apart to see the inner working of such parts or just start up a proj of my own. who knwos. just throwin it out there!

 

Busted wheels too! Makes an interesting wall mounted airline hose rack! I have a cracked Volk CE28 that will be used as such. Safety hazard on road but safe on a wall!

 

never thought of that! awesome! post up a pic if you can. i have a cracked Rota Torque with a round shaped glass on top of it. simple, yet stylish

I am going to go out on a limb here and say you are the same guy who picked up my EJ22 with a spun bearing in Roseville to make a table out of it.
