I get a low amount of damn MPG that I'm ashamed of even trying to estimate it. That's due to the spirited driving I do on 880 and in the city all the time. So it varies with the way you drive. Driving like a grandma for me could get me another 100miles a tank. If I drove on the freeway like I did to Watsonville, I could have gone to 350+ a tank. All depends on what the driving conditions are, and how you drive.

Also, 17" wheels and sticky tires WRECK your gas mileage. I think the only way that Subaru was able to get 22-25 out of the WRX was to run it on a dead-flat highway with 38psi in the stock RE-92s, in the Winter, with a horse-racing jockey driving the car.

no way.... bigger rims and stickier tires seriously give you worse gas mileage? any others have a reason for this? i didnt realize that after i put my rims on, i got worse gas mileage cuz at the same time i used a new accessport map too. i blamed iton the accessport.

Most definitely. Stickier, wider tires have more adhesion and require more force to "peel" from the road, and a larger wheel diameter transfers slightly less force to the road, meaning that the engine has to supply more power to compensate. I used to average around 330 miles per tank (13.5 gallons is when I refill) with my stock tires, and now I can't break 305 with 17" Kosei rims and Goodyear F1 GS-D3s.

I usually get 19-20 only city. I've done a few trips and got 26 only freeway. So if i was to do both, it would be around 23. You will definitely save gas if you keep it under boost.
