Few 2.5rs questions

I am looking into getting a 2001 2.5rs. I saw one this week that really looked nice, white with gold volks. I was just wondering if the 2.5rs can be upgraded easly. Like able to run mid 12's without doing the ej20 swap. If so how much am i looking to spend? Coudl your please list parts, ie a good turbo and prices...

thinkin bout

I am thinkin about a swap for sure but I have a 2001 impreza L but If I didn't allready buy the car and I had the money I would go wrx u can't go wrong with just test driving a wrx
u might get hooked .. lol
