Engine problem

Hi!

I have a problem with my WRX and I would like to know if someone can help me...

I bought a WRX 2002 with 10 000 miles. At full throttle in 1, 2nd and 3rd, the turbo seems to stops functioning during a short time and come back immediately. I don't know if it's the turbo, but it gives me feeling the motor loosens hp during a short time and come back quickly. It' seems to occur especially after 4500 rpm.

Someone can help me?

dos it do this in the other gears? are you stock, or running an aftermarket boost controller? you could be getting knock and the ecu could be pulling timing.

On all gear, the car is stock.

the problem is more evident on 2 and 3 gear

At what RPM? are you using premimum fuel (91+octane?)?
Ever have a K&N air filter? = oil on the MAF

Detination , mentioned earlier, is probally the culprit.

Yes I'm using premium fuel, it's happen after 4500 rpm... not always the same rmp... can happen at 5200 or 5800 or both...

it does not always do this... it just stop do this by driving while raining hard. But the issues come back yesterday.

I think the car have always been stock.

realisticaly dude this is the original problem i had with my car. after a long time at the shop and taking it to the right place i found out my precat cme apart. check it out. hope it didn't hurt the turbo. and to let you know i got 7000 miles.
