Dire need of help to install a short shifter!

Can anyone in the Folsom/Sacramento area help me out to install this new kartboy short shifter I recently bought? I have very little knowledge of how to install these things and would not like to damage anything that I might regret.

If not can anyone link to me a step by step guide that shows how to do it?

Thank you! I looked that up just now, quick question i'm using my old bushings cause I just bought one that came strictly with the short shifter no other assembly etc. I do understand new bushing makes the shift smoother so would this defeat the purpose of me buying one since I do understand short shifter decreased throw but i'm also looking for smoother shifting.

the newer bushings would give more responsive shifting as in more notchy. im not sure your definition of smoother so im guessing youll be fine with the bushings you have

More fluent as in compared to a older bushing there would be slightly a bit more resistance compared to a smooth bushing that possible would be more on the side of sliding smooth like butter.

um well new bushings will have less play than old bushings. aftermarket bushings are usually more stiff than oem and as such give a better feel. This increases NVH as noise is now being transferred to the cabin. It then causes the shifter to be more notchy. hope that helps. if not research on nasioc. there are no less than a thousand pages on it
