The car pulls to either side unless you correct it, I was wondering if that is normal with the whiteline steering rack bushings.
No, that's not caused by the Whiteline steering rack bushings. You might have the alignment checked. Has the car ever been in an accident?

As far as the pulling goes, it probably needs aligned. For the reflash. Yes it voids the warranty. I am not sure if its detectable or not depends upon the maker of the reflash. Yes, it will also cause engine wear. If the tuning is right, and not too agressive you should be fine. But as with any mod if it ups the performance it will also up the maintenance issues as well. The old adage is that you pay to play. I think you will like your "new" STi. I would fist make sure of all of the deatils of the reflash and i would recomend an alignment.

I would disagree with that statement. The bushings aren't supposed to make the car pull. They make the steering feel more precise, but they dont' throw it off. I would check the alignment, and if the alignment is ok, then maybe there is a problem with the tires. If not either, the car may have been wrecked.

I have the whiteline steering rack bushings on my WRX and have no pulling issues. My friend has them on his '04 STi and also has no pull.
