Alright, to start, no I don't have a Subaru. I have a '95 Saturn SC2, which despite it's performance potential, cannot handle the strain I put on it without something breaking (i.e. my headgasket is about 3 weeks from going bye-bye). I'm looking to sell the car for what I can, and using that money along with some saved up to purchase a WRX or lightly modded 2.5 RS.

What are some common problems with both cars?

Are the engines/transmissions strong enough to handle aggressive driving on a weekly scale?

If I was looking to buy, what is the max. mileage I would want on one before purchase?
