So about two weeks ago my clutch started slipping so i decided that it is probably time to replace it. I had a friend who was going help me change it and hes flaking on me so im **** out of luck. I'm a SFSU student and cannot afford to take it to a shop and get it done, and was hoping someone on here could give me a hand. I would greatly appreciate any offers could maybe provide some cash, beer, and some good karma in return.

Fastest ive done one with help from a friend (who also knew what he was doing) it took us 4.5hrs

 

I had some friends in So. Cal do mine. It is VERY labor intensive. However, I've seen a coupon floating around advertising $300 for clutch install from a local bay area shop. Ask if your fly-wheel needs re-surfacing as well.
