Car randomly shutting down while driving.

I was on the freeway this morning and the car decided to shut down out of nowhere. I noticed the instrument lights sort of dimming out and the radio cut out, next I know the car is bucking and suddenly comes back to life. It was just in the shop yesterday getting the tensioner and belt changed out. I did notice a good amount of corrosion on the battery terminals. Could this be the cause of it? Any other ideas? Maybe the alternator? It just seems like an odd coincidence that it has never done this before, I get it back from the shop and the next day I'm having issues. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

When was the last time you had your battery changed out?..

Or look at the acid content of the Battery, is there a decent amount?
