car dies after startup
I am sorry if i posted in the wrong place but i didnt see a good place to post, anyways, so here is my problem, i can start my car (07 outback nonturbo) it runs fine. after i drive about 300 ft i come to a stop and the idle is horrible, the car will eventually stop if i dont give it gas and when i do give it gas it revs for about 2 seconds before it jerks foreward. it will do this for about 2 miles and then after the car warms up it goes away. the dealership wanted almost $500 to replace the ignition coil, spark plugs, and cables. But they couldnt guarantee that was the problem. they said that it was the place to start for diagnosis. so i am doing it myself. i have replaced the spark plugs but am waiting for the other parts to arrive, but with new plugs it still does the same thing. if anyone has any info, help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

You can do allthat for under $200 with 1 hour worth of work
Like the person above said go get the code scanned
I think something is dirty or clogged. Like intake, fuel or throttle body?

there is no check engine light so there is no code to be read. i have a code scanner and it comes up empty. subaru wants to replace the parts i mentioned above before they start the troubleshoot on the vehicle.
