Hey, you guys (and any gals) are AWSOME. Yea, the scoop and wing do look a little too radical for the stealth look. But I can feel the wing start to snug down at 90 mph or so. Feels awsome. So would the smaller WRX wing give me the same aero? It'll be tough getting rid of the STi logos..........I'm still too proud to be owning one I guess. And I'll look in to the Borla hush. Thanks

I bought my white wagon specifically to avoid attention. The Vishnu twin-tip exhaust looks bone stock and with the Stage 1, its kept me entertained for months. I upgraded the brakes with the Stoptech Stg. 2 kit and the slots are barely noticable behind the stock rims (althought the brake dust adds up a lot faster). Tires have been upgraded to Proxes for the winter months.
Just got back from a jaunt down to San Diego, was travelling at a "slightly higher rate of speed" than other drivers and I didn't seem to turn any heads. Perfect.

Long time reader, first time poster. I went for the wagon just for the low key aspect. No "here cop here!" for me. Being from the Motor City, the cops first notice the big blocks and the typical ricers. Soobs are gaining ground and generally get the nod followed by a rev at a red light from the fast and furious crowd. I'm not sure how long I could keep my driving record clean *enough* if I was pushing 300hp just to show what a girl in a wagon could do. I'm trying to get into selling Subarus and I need the cleanest driving record I can get!

How can you runs 12's without any mods in a wrx? lol. The sleeper look shouldnt be based on if you have rims or not. The stock rims and tires must go. It makes worlds of difference.

because like I am totally into HP!
dont know if its been discussed preivously but... in all honesty the sleeper is an awesome conceptual idea, but a 2002+ impreza wrx or 2004+ sti cant really be a sleeper in true form. nonetheless i am a huge fan of the "sleeper" and think its the only way to go. Then again if your talking about running 12's in a wrx... a huge front mount intercooler is a necessity which = no sleeper. for a sti.... its much more simple.
