Any owners of the new 2012 Impreza 2.0i?
Hey there,
First time on this forum and first thread. Any new owners of the 2012 Impreza non turbo? What do you think of the car compared to reviews? Ordered mine and will be here next month.

Looks like you are the first owner!? I checked out the new Impreza at Subie Fest and the LA Auto Show. I really like this car. As a daily driver it would just be awesome! Post up some pics when you get it.
Curious as to what kind of deal you got on the price if any?

Well, OTD price is around $21.2K for a Sport Premium 5 door with 5 speed. I hope that is a decent deal. Nothing set in stone until the car comes in and I like it. Hope there isn't any trace of radiation either.

I bought mine December 28th.My old car was a 2007 2.5i i can say i love the new car .There's barely any road noise its really quiet inside which is surprising for a Subaru, the stock speakers and head unit are worlds better. The 5 speeds gearing is a lot longer especially 1st and 2nd, the fuel mileage is a lot better too. However i think the 2.0L is a louder motor with the timing chain than the 2.5L with the timing belt, and no matter what the numbers say as to 0-60 times, 2.0L Vs 2.5L i think the 2.5L would take it,it feels a lot more peppier .The 2.5 has 170horsepower with a 0-to-60-mph time of 7.9 sec and the 2.0 has 148 with a 0-60 time of 8.0 sec not that big of a difference for either one of those "race cars" but the new revised gearing and it being lighter is suppose to help ,i love the car and ill keep it for a long time i just wish Subaru wouldn't have messed with the 2.5.Other than that its a fantastic car im averaging 28-29 right now with 900 miles on it so i guess its not broken in yet.

Sweet ride. Mine came in a month early...12/24/2011. Great little car. What do you think of the Yokohama tires? Tire Rack gave it poor reviews, but that is from all the Mazda 3 owners.

Thanks! I didn't actually order mine , my brother needed a car so he bought my old 2.5i and i just went down on the dealership and they had 2, I picked the one with the manual lol...The Yokohama's aren't really that bad i think , they get good gas and they are quiet.I don't know about longevity of the tire.Even in the snow they aren't terrible. I usually run dedicated winter tires like Hankook Ipikes or my last set of mud diggers Pacemarks? I think that's what they are called. For all seasons the Yokohamas aren't half bad in the snow as long as you don't drive like an idiot
