Air Bag Light

I put Sparco 4 point harnesses in my 03 REX and took out the stock 3 points. Now my Air Bag Light is on. Its been on for about a month now and I figured the bulb would have blown by now. Anyone know of a way to turn that off? It is annoying to have that little red light on all the time.

The air bag senses a person through the seat belt connection, by taking the stock belts out the air bag system will not work properly.

there is a switch in the seat belt plug, you can try hooking up a test light to see if it is a ground or power switch. just connect the wire to the proper source and your light should be taken car of.

the "bulb" is an led. mine has been on for 1 year and is still glowing strong!

proper source depends... if it needs ground, you could tap a wire to any chassis part, if it need +12v then and 12 volt signal that is switched on with the car would be good. i could tell you where exactly to get it, but i don't know what signal the light needs to be switched off.

Could I connect that power wire to a 12V toggle switch?

you could connect it, but make sure that 12v to that wire turns off the airbag light first, otherwise it wont do much good.
