Just after 5,000 rpm's i get a hesitation in the motor (the car seems to stop pulling for a moment). It's most noticible in First gear but still apparent in 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Anyone else have this?

This car is bone stock! Runs 93 octain and has 4k miles on it.

Is it a full throttle hesitation or just part throttle?

Might just be a flat spot in the cam so to speek before you get to the power.

I just tried part throttle, it does it then also. Strange it could be the cam but I find it odd that I am the only one to notice it. I'm positive it's there because my friend felt it to and pointed out the rpm correctly.

I have the car bone stock not even the restrictor mod!

Maybe I'll talk to the friendly folks at Subaru about it... <sigh>

they'll probably void my warranty for flooring the car...
