As British bangers said, if you flare the arches you'll need a 22b front and rear bumper (if you can get one) they are like rocking horse sh*t in the Uk and the rear bumper along costs £1200, i dont know if they are available in the U.S. Good luck

I give up. To get a decent set of gear ratios for a 300hp engine is going to be a nightmare. The 6 Speed just isn't geared right and the 5 speed box will always suffer from case flex. Looks like I'm going to have to stick with the LS1 RX7 idea.
No big loss I guess, I mean I do have a bad *** pickup for off-roading

was thinkin of tryin to do a 22b conversion on my 1.8 gc8 my95.
im not too worried about body styling , im moor interested in the powertrain.
i've been told that i can use the legacy 2.2t for the base of the project. but it really looks like more of a money pit than anything.
and ive also read that a supercharger kit will be available for the ej18, 22, & 25 sometime around the begining of the year. any thoughts or helpful opinions r apreciated

supercharger has too much parasitic drag IMO. turbo is better, more efficient, although needs spool up time. www.howstuffworks.com has a great comparasin of super/turbo. def check that out. good luck
