is it just me or the sedan's rear reminds you of a corolla? Wait let me rephrase that, THE WHOLE CAR REMINDS ME OF A COROLLA!!!(which is already outdated) And why is the wide fenders gone?!?!?!

I don't know, the sedan is starting to grow on me, maybe a bigger spoiler on the back would help. I still like the looks of the new lancer better. We've have to see how the ralliart and wrx compare performance and price wise...

I Call Shananigans
I call shananigans on the new 08 stuff. Did Subaru go out and ask a bunch of Honda owners how they wanted the new stuff to look? That hatch back option looks like a honda SI I smoked the other day.
AND YES, the sedan version looks like a corolla!!
There goes the nieghborhood!

Ok, so here is my 50 cents worth. When I first saw the photos of the '08 WRX on the cover page of Motortrend magazine I had to buy it because I needed to see if there was a mistake made about the car. I thought that maybe they accidentally put the picture of a Mazda 5 or a Chevy Optra 5 on the cover insted of the WRX. WTF!?!? Is Subaru in an identity crisis or what?? The car may be technologically more advanced than the outgoing model, but couldn't the designers make it look like a Subaru? Stip the badges and I guarantee it would be mistaken with one of the makes I mentioned above! I think Subaru just threw its identity out the window as a different and unique car maker and paid absolutely no respect to its lineage. I think I'll keep my '02 bugeye WRX and wait for the release of the next gen Mitsu Evo. Impreza RIP~!

Hi guys/gals, first time posting on this forum but, have been lurking since 2002. Anyways, all may not be lost as the STI looks quite aggressive. I figure some of you have already seen this image but, in case you haven't enjoy.
Oh BTW, by the way the roof slopes towards the rear it appears that is the Wagon/Hatchback chassis.

That's a terrible photochop.
The hood and the scoop don't look anything like the new one, the fog lights are in the wrong spot and they're misaligned, etc.
