Car Info: 2004 Subaru Impreza outback automatic
Hi Everyone..I am new to i-club and also a new Subaru owner.
I just bought a 2004 Subaru Impreza outback (automatic with 74k miles). One thing i noticed , that the gear changing stick is hard when changing the gear. Is it common in Subaru, or is it something i should be worried about (prelude to some kind of transmission issue).
Thanks you
-Venu

Did you drive it before you bought it? Sounds like an issue to me. Pretty much I'd say take it to a good Subaru shop or a dealer. Warranty by any chance?
Sometimes it can a little more effort, especially if you are parked on a slope, but you should still be able to put it in gear. If it is literally stuck, then you should get it checked.
