most people will say "of course its worth it, its a sti" but seriously its all up to you. lets just say that you would spend a whole lot more than $5000 to get a wrx similar in performance and whatnot to a sti. if you think its worth it, then go for it.

THanks
Well first off it's what you want, the STi is an amazing machine, but so is the WRX. The question is, do you want all those cool gadgets that come with the STi? If so it would be worth it for all those extra parts. But if you use that $5,000 to mod your wrx, you will blow away that STi, that you would have bought. If you want to mod, keep the WRX, if you want all the goodies that the STi has, get the STi. Next thing, make sure you post in the right forum bro, you should of put this in the suby shopping forum, the moderators have had to move tons of posts lately, we need to help them by taking that job off their hands and post in the right spots.

In addition there are more regular and JDM parts at the moment for a WRX because the USDM 2.5 STI just doesn't have many people making stuff for it.

Think about it this way, the STi's brake/wheel package is more than $5,000. Plus you get a low 13 sec 1/4 mile car with a full warantee. I went with the STi. Good luck.
